EGÉSZSÉG ÉS FIATALSÁG, LEGYEN EZ A TERMÉSZETES!
We are becoming more and more aware of how important it is for us to get our spiritual affairs in order when we attempt a lifestyle change. We are going to introduce you now dr. Erika József, who takes care of her health and encourages her patients to do the same. In addition, Erika is a good example of a successful woman who sets a good example in many areas of life, in many ways.
She started her career in a hospital, working in pediatrics and internal medicine, and she is currently a general practitioner in Pincehely, Hungary. She was working for 10 years at the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, where she gained great experience mainly in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. She began to study and successfully apply natural treatments in her practice in the early ’90s.
She constantly trains herself in the fields of nutrition, micronutrients, vitamins, herbology and is committed to making people understand that prevention of diseases is in everyone’s best interest. She is happy to pass on her knowledge of proper nutrition, lifestyle and dietary supplements. Her holistic healing approach, her love for people, and her charismatic personality is simply fascinating.
KaméleOn Magazin: Please, tell us about your childhood.
Dr. Erika József: I grew up in Cegléd in a rural environment, in a family with 3 children. My parents separated early, so my mother raised us alone, and being the eldest child, I had to grow up very soon. I went to very good schools and I was blessed with wonderful teachers.
K: What values have you taken with you from home?
dEJ: Despite the fact that my parents were ordinary working people, education was always top priority. They were proud of my excellent school results. I had a lot more books than dolls; I have been a bookworm since I was a small child.
“Study hard! No one can take knowledge away from you.” It was one of the life lessons I learnt.
The other is perseverance and discipline. When my application to the medical university failed the second time, my mom told me to keep learning and trying, and that I will surely succeed for the third time. And I did.
„Tanulj! A tudást senki nem veheti el tőled!”- ez volt az egyik klasszikus útravaló.
A másik a kitartás, a fegyelem. Ugyanis amikor még másodszor sem sikerült az egyetemi felvételim az orvosira, anyukám azt mondta, folytassam a felkészülést, majd harmadszorra biztosan sikerül. Így is lett.
K: How could you reconcile your medical profession with motherhood?
dEJ: I was still at university when my daughters were born, mind you at that time it was natural. Studying and preparing for exams often happened at night, but it was much easier than starting a career with small kids.
The emergency services caused the biggest problem, and there was no way around it. My children became independent very quickly.
Az ügyeleti szolgálat okozta a legnagyobb gondot, és ezt nem lehetett kikerülni. Az én gyerekeim is nagyon hamar önállóak lettek.

K: You are constantly training and improving yourself. What are you interested in nowadays?
dEJ: Mainly in those methods and new scientific discoveries that allow us to live longer and healthier lives. To highlight just a few areas: molecular hydrogen is a new, healing gas, which is very popular in Japan.
The results of telomer (protective cap on chromosomes, its damage causes aging) researches, but I am also interested in nutrition and environmental protection.
I want to use my knowledge to help a wider audience, so I’m working on developing my own website, which is a new challenge for me.
The motto is: health and youth, let it beT natural!
My goal is to teach people, to make them understand the threat that the diseases of civilization pose to our health. To give them knowledge, methods and tools to stay healthy and young for a long time in this rushing and destructive world.
I’ve also developed my own food supplement, and I’m going to continue on this track, which is a very exciting and uplifting task. I regularly give educational presentations live as well as web conferences, and I am glad that many people are listening to these across borders.
K: What is the everyday life of an ordinary doctor like?
dEJ: At the moment, I am always in a rush. Waking up at dawn, practicing in the country, back to Budapest, working in front of the computer or giving a lecture in the evening.
K: How can you manage to have enough time for everything?
dEJ: I Sleep fast. I am kidding, but let’s put joking aside, I’m on a very tight schedule. I make time for myself and my family, my garden and my dogs at the weekend.

K: You are not only dedicated to traditional medicine; you are also interested in herbs and dietary supplements. How do you reconcile these in your medical practice?
dEJ: I try to combine natural methods with traditional medicine for the benefit of my patients. Not one instead of the other, it is a very fine line… knowing when the method is gentle enough, and when it is a mistake not to use medical drugs. I put a great deal of emphasis on proper nutrition, encourage patients to exercise regularly, and explain the importance of stress relief and relaxation.
I see the importance of herbs or food supplements in the prevention of chronic diseases of civilization, and I consider them useful during recovery or in the relief of symptoms associated with a given treatment. I trust that more and more people will accept, and more importantly, benefit from the pharmacy of nature.
K:: What do you do for your own health?
dEJ: Honestly, I don’t have much time for myself right now. Sports, gymnastics, walking with my dogs and gardening. I like swimming too, but I really don’t have time for it at the moment. I am vegetarian but I also eat fish, but I am easily tempted as I have a sweet tooth. I’ve always taken food-supplements, and I still do. Norwegian omega3 fish oil, extracts of super fruits (noni, mangosteen, acai berry, blueberry, green tea), vegetable capsules, Humic Acid and the inevitable hydrogen that provides the extra charge. I regularly schedule in the consumption of algae and herbal mushrooms as well.
